Fifteen Years of Climate Date at a Glance

Using graphs to browse data

How do you browse easily through 15 years worth of daily rainfall and temperature data? Many websites forces you to select from a series of drop-down selections on a data-entry form, but surely you should be able to see the data and choose where to drill down visually! This 'kinda' works in Firefox, but the redirection of the links to target frames has no effect here.

This part of the Causeway site is generated entirely automatically with the Rainview function - it is both an illustration of the technique and an interesting collection of data in its own right. Have a look at the autumn rainfall in 2000 to see why the UK suffered the worst flooding for 50 years in late October and early November.
