Pie Chart Examples

This is just to show that we can do piecharts. There are various labelling options; here you can see spider labels as an alternative to adding a conventional key and using the spiders for data values.

Note that for best results in the browser, all shading patterns have been mapped to appropriate halftone colours. The alternative is to use GIF tiles for the pie sectors which requires an extra callback to the server, and will greatly slow down the rendering.
