It is extensively used in the Cognos Finance application, as APL provides fast development and rapid execution of array-oriented financial models. RainPro is offered as collection of functions which can take a simple chart specification and return to the application a publication-quality chart for printing or viewing on screen. NewLeaf for Report and Table Publishing
NewLeaf returns the task of report preparation to the simplicity it had in mainframe days of fixed-size fonts and known page size. It takes a simple page-specification - in terms of fixed elements and frames - and flows text within and across frames.
