RainPro is a Dyalog APL namespace which takes data and makes high-quality charts. These can be shown on-screen with the supplied viewer, saved to the clipboard, printed or exported as VML, SVG, PDF, metafile or image formats. You can (of course) include the charts in your own GUI application whether you choose to build it with CausewayPro or with the standard Dyalog APL Gui.

Using RainPro with timeseries data

A typical timeseries might be the UK base-rate for the last few years. Given a vector of values, it is easy to set up an APL function (no more than 10 lines, depending how you spread the chart properties out) to make a really clean-looking chart such as:

It really is as easy as calling any other APL function, and once you have made your charts you can publish them on the internet in any of the 3 popular vector formats (VML, SVG, PDF) or save them as PNG or GIF images direct from your APL application.
