Changes at 16th Jan 2000 (4.5c)

PostScrp.Clip – takes note of the ∆rgb flag (set by the viewer checkbox) and clips in greyscale if this is not set. Makes for better printed copy from Word etc. as headings and captions are mapped to black. 24-bit colours are greyscaled as for colour images – this preserves a visible difference between solid colours in things like barchart fills.

VML output – under Win2000 the ‘position:absolute’ attribute does not seem to cascade properly from the style sheet. This has been added explicitly to the output stream wherever objects are positioned with top=xx etc. Adds a few bytes, but makes it portable from Win98-Win2K with no code changes. Maybe one day they will fix it!

ch.Help – access to help topics for functions or properties. Two-character codes are treated as property names such as ch.Help 'xl', otherwise you can ask for help on any chart function such as ch.Help 'Tower'.
