pdf.measure – must only count ‘\’ in the width if it is preceeded by another ‘\’ else we misalign text like (grams) where the parens are escaped. Parens and Checkweigher test it.

vml,svg.Log – special-case for href ' ' which adds a dummy anchor tag in the output, and hence a pointing hand cursor over all the data elements. Good if you also have JavaScript onclick handlers set for the data to give the user a hint that there is a hotspot.

pdf.MakeFonts – must NOT add the WinAnsiEncoding key for symbol fonts like Symbol and ZapfDingbats. These work fine with the default encoding.
