Introduction to the Windows Utilities

The windows utilities shipped with CausewayPro are in the namespaces:

• #.Win – simple stand-alone functions, covering:
  • Ask – Yes/No confirmation
  • Color – colour chooser
  • Fbx – file chooser
  • Find – phrase search in list
  • Folder – browse for folder
  • Help – invoke help file
  • HTMHelp – invoke CHM-style help
  • Input – prompt for text
  • Msg – display a message
  • Pick – select an item from a list
  • Popup – simple right-mouse menu
  • PopupTree – deep popup menu
  • WhatsThis – dialogue-box help
  • Ync – Yes/No/Cancel dialogue
• #.GuiPbar – stand-alone progress bar

You can use these in combination with standard Causeway forms, or as simple utilities in your own Gui code.
