Tables formatted with leaf.table.Spread may be constrained to fit entirely on a single page, or to occupy no more than n pages wide.

Valid combinations are:

• {any scalar = fitted across,open-ended downwards}
• 1 1 = all on 1 page (uniform scaling)

The constraints of fixed rows (headings) and fixed arbitrary columns (set with Keystyle 11) make the combination of n×m very hard to compute! Shelved for the moment as the above provide the 90% solution!

No attempt is made to balance the columns of a wide table across pages, so you may arrive at a situation where the final (rightmost) page has only a single column.If you fix too many (wide) columns so that there is no space in the frame for any unfixed columns, NewLeaf will progressively unfix them until there is room for at least one unfixed column.
