chSetNewline – change the default linebreak

By default, the semi-colon is used as a line-break character in headings, notes and labels. You can ‘escape’ semi-colons by preceeding them with the backslash character, but it may be more convenient to set an alternative character which you know will not occur in your text.

chSetNewline '^'
chSet 'Heading' 'Hello^World

This must always be a single character, with the one exception that the character pair “\n” is accepted.
