EquationStyle – placement of modelfit results

When the equation of a curve is written on the line (style ‘model,annotate’) the default is to place it above the curve, at the right-hand end. The placement and appearance can be modified with this property.

chSet 'EStyle' 'left,below,opaque'

KeywordDescription
Left:Middle:Right:Index=nnPosition along the line
Above:Below:Straddlevertical placement
Transparent:OpaqueBlank behind text
Pitch=120%Set line-spacing for multi-line equations

To set an exact placement along the fitted curve, use the ‘index’ style:

chSet 'EStyle' 'index=23'

The number may range from 1 to 100, and gives the distance to travel along the fitted curve from left to right. The annotation text will be aligned left or right, depending on the slope of the chart at the point you choose.
