Features Added in 2000 Releases
Some of the new features added to Release 4.5 of RainPro are:
- XBar a new type of barchart which gives you precise control over the positioning of bars on the X-axis.
- Scaled markers, which may be used to improve scatter plots by having the marker size represent the number of hits at that data point.
- Viewer settings now persist in the registry. Also the viewer is now fully translatable, and phrasebook files are available for many European languages.
- Arrowheads may be drawn on riser lines, polar spokes, VLine plots and also on X and Y axes.
- The X-axis now supports top and duplicate styles
- Trace charts are new chart type to plot data from multiple parallel inputs (such as seismographs) and also resource plots and kite diagrams.
- JavaScript handlers may now be set on chart data, and may update headings or other standard text items.
- You can now use any text characters are scalable markers (typically in scatter plots).
- Numeric axis labels may be formatted with a simple picture specification.
- Chart styles modelfit and trend combine with order of fit and flexibility to give simple curve-fitting and smoothing for scatter plots.
