Styles are defined with a list of keywords, separated by commas. At a minimum, you need the first 4 letters of each word to activate the style.

| Keyword | Description |
| Values | Data values are appended to spider tags |
| Spider | Keys are treated as spider tags in collections of small pies |
| Horizontal | Piechart starts at the ‘3:00’ position rather than 12:00 |
| Plain | The radial lines from the sectors to the tags are omitted |
If you use Xlabels and Values here, you may set a Value format such as “#0% XL” to merge them together cleanly. The default is to append the value to the label, separated by a colon.
The checkboxes and radio-buttons in the style editor in GraPL (desktop) simply add and remove the appropriate keywords for you.
